So Dan made a trip to the Comic Shop (Big Pete's?)in North Van and I saw an ad for a Star Wars Documentary that looked cool. The Ad looked like it had some concept stuff for an X-Wing and I thought it would be a good excuse to break out my new felts. It was good times... Hope you likes (:P)

I really liked the visual style of the "Windwaker" Zelda... So here are a few quick sketches...

We had to do 3 rough layouts this week of: our street, house and room. this may be i BIT more than what was asked for but what the heck right? I am a glutton for punishment apparently.... hope you likes (:P)

the assignment that wasn't REALLY an assignment....

In our Animation class, each week we get a topic for an illustration. Last week, a student who shall remain JASON (:P) decided it would be funny to play a prank on us and write a FAKE topic: Davie Street.... So I ( apparently I wasn't the only one( shoutout to Brian!)who thought it would be cool to do something to do with Davy Jones.... I wanted him to be looking for Davy Jones locker, hence the lost/ confused look. Fist time messing around with new felts and looking forward to more!

We are animating "Skip", the father from "Family Dog", a classic 2d cartoon from the '80s.... here are a few of the character studies I did while doing research.... it's been a while since I posted so I figured I should put something up (:P)... hope you likes ^_^ here are some of the poses I plan on using for the actual animation

yeah so after getting a bit frustrated with work related stuff, i thought it might be nice to take a brain break and have a bit of fun:).. with Hallowe'en JUST around the corner, much debate as to what my costume is going to be is happenning... here is one of the possibilities... more costume posts to come?... we'll see ;)

I should be spending about an hour or 2 but I spent about 6 hrs on this one... yeah..... ok! more quantity less quality?.... hmmmm.....

For those that haven't figured it out yet;) Zach power is a spoof on Jack Bauer.... of 24... yeah anyways... here are a few more hot off the press! They are no all EXACTLY on model but darn close... once they are all done i will go back over them and make sure they all fit together "stylistically" and are on model. Let me know what you think!
